One morning in the middle of a lo’i kalo (taro patch) in Kāko‘o ‘Ōiwi, the artist AJ felt moved to capture the sunlight glistening on dew-kissed kalo leaves. The Kalo design is a tribute to kalo and the vital role it continues to play in the lives of the Hawaiian people. And cuz we love poi.
